Here are three recommended plugins I use daily.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Zen Coding<\/h3>\n<p>Takes a while to learn but the most flexible HTML\/CSS-Shortcut system ever (yes, ever, at the moment).<\/p>\n<p>It works quite easy:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You type <code>div<\/code>, press <code>^E<\/code> (the global shortcut key) and <code escaped=\"true\">&lt;div&gt;&lt;\/div&gt;<\/code> is inserted in Coda.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The cool thing is, that you can also do this:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Type <code >div#whatulike<\/code> and <code escaped=\"true\">&lt;div id=\"whatulike\"&gt;&lt;\/div&gt;<\/code> is inserted<\/li>\n<li><code>div*2<\/code> gives <code escaped=\"true\">&lt;div&gt;&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;\/div&gt;<\/code><\/li>\n<li><code escaped=\"true\">div#someid&gt;p<\/code> inserts <code escaped=\"true\">&lt;div id=\"someid\"&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;\/div&gt;<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are numerous other examples (also for CSS) and some screencasts showing the concept:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/code.google.com\/p\/zen-coding\/\">http:\/\/code.google.com\/p\/zen-coding\/<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Line Commands<\/h3>\n<p>What I really miss from Eclipse are the following features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go to last edit location (regardless if it&#8217;s in another file)<\/li>\n<li>Word completion (aka &#8220;Hippie Completion&#8221;, don&#8217;t ask), best completion system on the planet<\/li>\n<li>Move Line Up\/Down, Duplicate Line Up\/Down<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At least the last was rebuilt in Coda, although somewhat slow:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/code.google.com\/p\/codaplugins\/downloads\/list\">http:\/\/code.google.com\/p\/codaplugins\/downloads\/list<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Remove Trailing Whitespaces<\/h3>\n<p>This is something Panic could really add in the next version (with &#8220;trim on save&#8221;):<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/erikhinterbichler.com\/software\/white-out\/\">http:\/\/erikhinterbichler.com\/software\/white-out\/<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Other pages with hints and plugins I found useful:<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.macstories.net\/tutorials\/coda-a-collection-of-120-plugins-clips-snippets-and-tuts-for-designers-and-developers\/\">http:\/\/www.macstories.net\/tutorials\/coda-a-collection-of-120-plugins&#8230;<\/a><br \/>\n<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.drastudio.com\/past\/2008\/11\/29\/adding-more-coda-books\/\">http:\/\/www.drastudio.com\/&#8230;\/adding-more-coda-books\/<\/a><br \/>\n<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mactricksandtips.com\/2008\/09\/32-coda-tips-and-tricks.html\">http:\/\/www.mactricksandtips.com\/&#8230;\/32-coda-tips-and-tricks.html<\/a><br \/>\n<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.upstartblogger.com\/30-panic-coda-tips-and-tricks\">http:\/\/www.upstartblogger.com\/30-panic-coda-tips-and-tricks<\/a><br \/>\n<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.digitalistic.com\/2009\/03\/31\/pimp-my-coda\/\">http:\/\/www.digitalistic.com\/2009\/03\/31\/pimp-my-coda\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Using Coda?
